TPOCTTWFP-Chapter 18 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (6)”

{Chapter Edited by Chinthani}

Meanwhile, YunGe was speaking with Fu Yan- or more accurately, listening to Fu Yan speaking. She felt fearful; the jade pendant she gave to Huan Mo had been broken…

At the same time, the restriction placed in the level 2 spiritual beasts’ domain began shaking. Fu Yan’s complexion changed.

“Undo the restriction.” YunGe said coldly.

“Senior Martial Sister…” The Junior Brother who assisted from the side was a bit surprised. Although the shaking had only lasted for a split second, removing the restriction is extremely unreasonable.

Fu Yan stared blankly for a moment, then proceeded to remove the restriction. “Senior Martial Sister, there’s no need to worry, Junior Martial Niece will be fine. Good people will obtain the Heaven’s aid!” Fu Yan gently comforted.

YunGe didn’t pay attention to him. Once inside the level 2 territory, she tried to sense her disciple’s location and flew. Fu Yan was, of course, behind and following her.

Then an awe inspiring scene appeared: collapsed disciples scattered about! The surrounding trees frozen by a layer of ice and the scarlet-red patch of ground nearly burned her eyes!

Her disciple was so lovable, acting spoiled whilst requesting for hugs. Everyday, before going to bed, she would be in her embrace, bouncing around, before she could agree to sleep. When she was meditating, her disciple liked to study those movements. She never caused trouble and always obediently stayed by her side, but…

Wait a minute!!!

YunGe suddenly found out that the disciple laying in the pool of blood was not her disciple. Although that jade pendant belonged to her disciple and that bracelet also belonged to her disciple, this was not her disciple. YunGe took a glimpse: it was a young man, that Lin Lin, still alive.

Although YunGe ascertained that this was not her disciple, her heart was still not calm. Only when she saw her disciple coming out the frozen shrubs, pale but uninjured, could she finally calm down.

On the other side, when Fu Yan had become frantic upon seeing that the wounded disciple was Lin Lin. Fu Yan had mixed feelings. Honestly speaking, he disapproved of this Junior Brother who depended on his father’s status as an elder and considered everyone beneath him.

Fu Yan inspected Lin Lin’s condition: his spiritual veins were destroyed. Although his life wasn’t in danger, without spiritual veins, he could no longer cultivate.

Fu Yan recalled a previous incident where Lin Lin had clashed with another and destroyed their spiritual veins. At the time, Lin Lin had still been the only one to have reached Level 2 of Qi Refining and knew how to draw in Qi. The other disciple’s spiritual veins had been purer than Lin Lin’s, and would have had a better future after mastering the ability to draw in Qi. As a result, the two had been constantly at odds with each other. Lin Lin used the one-time use fatal move that Elder Xiu gave him to save himself. It had destroyed the spiritual veins of that disciple.

Fu Yan expressed uncertainty. If Lin Lin hadn’t used it, would he still have faced such an ending?

…This was not the time to think about this. Fu Yan and the other Junior Brother delivered the disciples back to Yunfu.

“Senior Martial Sister.” Fu Yan’s concerned expression had not yet been erased.

“I’m bringing Huan Mo back.” Once YunGe finished speaking, she flew on her sword and left.

Fu Yan was left standing there with an undefined expression on his face. He was looking at her drifting sleeves, his thoughts unknown.

The root of the mishap quickly emerged. It turned out that a level 2 Ice spiritual beast had suddenly leveled up and encountered the people partaking in trials.

Elder Xiu was furious, unconvinced by this reason. How could a spiritual beast who just leveled up take the initiative to attack cultivators?

Then, a disciple stepped forward and said that it was Lin Lin that attacked the spiritual beast first, making it act violently. What happened after that, they didn’t know because they were affected by the attack and lost consciousness.

YunGe had no time to pay attention to these trivial matters. Currently, she was faced with a difficult problem. How would she tell her disciple that her companion’s spiritual veins had been destroyed and that Elder Xiu will send him back to the human world before he even wakes up?

YunGe had seen the jade bracelet and pendant on Lin Lin. She really felt that this youngster, whose cultivation base is pretty good, was highly valued in her disciple’s mind. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have given him the life-saving items to him as well as acting cute and spoiled in order to go to the trials with him.

Now that her companion is gone, how could she break this news to her disciple?

YunGe felt a bit distressed and sighed as she looked at her sleeping disciple. How could that disciple be so careless? What good points did he even have?

YunGe tried to think of the reason for this accident. What a minute!! An idea suddenly flashed past her mind.

Perhaps he wanted to be the center of attention in front of her disciple?

The more YunGe thought, the more she felt she was off track. Childhood sweethearts, innocent playmates…

Then she saw her disciple’s glistening eyes. “Master!!!” Huan Mo ran over and, like a koala, wrapped her arms around YunGe’s neck.

YunGe hurriedly put her messy guesses aside and carried her disciple. “It’s alright.”

“Master, are the other Martial Uncles alright?” The Martial Uncles she was referring to were the group of disciples who took part in the trials with her.

YunGe suddenly realized an even graver topic: Lin Lin was also considered as one of those Martial Uncles! The hierarchy was a mess!

YunGe thought that her disciple was asking only about Lin Lin and she felt uncertain. “Alright…”

“Master, you don’t know! That Ice spiritual beast was so scary!” There was still fear in Huan Mo’s eyes, as if that Ice spiritual beast could appear at any moment.

YunGe hugged her more tightly. “It’s alright, we won’t go to the back mountains in the future.”

“…” Huan Mo was suddenly silent.

YunGe rubbed her disciple’s head. “What’s wrong? Still afraid? Don’t be afraid, no person… no beast can hurt you.”

“No…” Huan Mo’s tone was gloomy. “Master…Is Lin Lin ok?”

YunGe’s heart thumped. It seems that she couldn’t hide it from her disciple. It was not easy to hide it from her. Her disciple had definitely seen Lin Lin fighting the Ice spiritual beast before she was affected by the spiritual power and fell unconscious.

“MoMo…” YunGe didn’t know how to comfort her disheartened disciple and could only plant a kiss on her forehead. “It’s alright. He’s also fine. He’s just going back home…” That was also the truth. Excluding the part about his spiritual veins, he was just getting sent back to the human world, nothing more.

“…” Huan Mo’s cheeks reddened at a visible rate, but before YunGe could see it, she buried her face in YunGe’s bosom. She spoke with a low, muffled voice. “That’s good. He always said that he wanted to go back.”

YunGe felt unwell seeing her disciple losing a companion. “If you ever miss him, I can take you to see him.”

YunGe didn’t notice that a certain hidden-in-her-embrace person heard this and the corners of her mouth twitched.

It has been so long and her master was still so pure…

“Oh, right. In the future, don’t give the life-saving items to others, alright?” YunGe thought of this matter and said it. Her disciple was too sincere. Even if she wanted to make friends, she surely didn’t have to give away two life-saving items?

Huan Mo heard this and her tiny brain buried in YunGe’s embrace stilled for a moment, then nodded. Those who dared to touch her things shall pay the corresponding price!

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 17 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (5)”

Ever since the clarification, YunGe found her disciple being more open. Although she was still as clingy, her courage had improved quite a lot.

“Master, am I really not allowed to go to the trials?” The disciple waited anxiously, looking at YunGe with inquisitive eyes.

YunGe knocked her head. “Did you forget what I told you?” After the introduction, the Inner disciples were sent to partake in trials. The place they were sent to was, in fact, the back mountains. However, they were not sent to the territory of level 1 spiritual beasts, but of level 2 spiritual beasts.

How could YunGe bear to throw her disciple there? And so from the start, she came to an agreement with Fu Yan and Huan Mo’s trials were cancelled.

When Huan Mo returned, she turned to YunGe. “Master, Lin Lin and the others all went…”

“Is Lin Lin your friend?” It was the first time YunGe heard another disciple’s name coming out of her mouth.

YunGe did not hear anything about who her disciple was at odds with, nor about who she got along with during the introduction. Since this was the first time, YunGe found it significant. Friends and what not, moral conduct is very important!

“Lin Lin often helps me. He is great.” Huan Mo’s eyes blinked incessantly and sweetly said “Master, I already promised to go with him~”

If she doesn’t go, how would she deal with those group of people who don’t have eyes?!

(^^^TN: Huan Mo’s perspective)

YunGe was delighted. Her disciple made a friend? Even agreed to go with them and train?

“Lin Lin is awesome!” Huan Mo continued speaking. “He’s already at the second level of Qi Refining!” That will be gone soon.

“Alright then. I’ll send you over there, but if something happens, break this jade pendant. Ok?” YunGe couldn’t resist her disciple acting spoiled and without any better options, put on the pendant for her. She looked at her disciple with a serious expression.

Undergoing trials weren’t particularly dangerous and besides, that friend had a level 2 Qi Refining, so there was only a slight chance of a big problem arising. YunGe could only give her disciple the concern and care of an elder. A peer’s friendship and companionship was something she could not give. It’s not as if she didn’t want her disciple to have friends. So in the end, she could only think of this solution!

“Master is the best!” Huan Mo heard this and immediately went to give YunGe a peck on the cheek. “Master, let’s go quickly or else everyone would leave!”

“Ok, I’ll take you there!” YunGe flew her on sword, taking Huan Mo to the location.

When they arrived, Fu Yan had lifted the area’s restriction. He turned around and saw YunGe arriving.

She flew on her sword, her sleeves drifting across and the ribbons waving behind her. Her waist-long hair was casually tied up. A few strands of hair settled onto her snow-white clothes, creating a dramatic black-white contrast. It also projected a refined appearance. Her skin was whiter than snow, her facial features were gorgeously contoured, yet she was surrounded by a layer of freezing aura, keeping in check one’s impulse to draw nearer.

“Senior Martial Sister.” Fu Yan walked over with a puzzled look at the zongzi-like Huan Mo behind YunGe. Didn’t she say she wasn’t participating?

Fu Yan and all the other disciples understood the rumor of their Martial Niece’s status in Senior Martial Sister’s heart. Even her expression when she looked at this good-for-nothing Martial Niece was much different from her usual cold expression.

“Huan Mo wanted to go with them.” YunGe indicated Huan Mo to go ahead. Huan Mo hugged her for a moment and then ran towards where the other disciples were gathered.

YunGe felt regretful. There wasn’t even a single disciple that stepped forward to talk to Huan Mo. A small stature in the midst of disciples in groups of twos and threes. The scene looked particularly lonely!

YunGe took note of this, then saw her disciple’s eyes shining and running towards a tall youngster. YunGe took a guess: that should be Lin Lin, right?

YunGe was glad. A promise was made and Huan Mo painstakingly made a friend. Why must she lose a friend on the account of a guardian’s excuse?

“Senior Martial Sister, I’ve sent them in.” Fu Yan gently said. YunGe nodded.

………………………………

“Hey trash, you here to send something again?” Once she entered the level 2 domain, Lin Lin started to talk.

Huan Mo looked at him once, then walked away. The onlookers saw this scene and dared not say anything. These two should not be provoked. Everyone knew that Lin Lin was the illegitimate child of Elder Xiu, even if he was in the same Lin generation as them. He was recently picked up and was pampered to death. The other person, although incapable of ever becoming a threat in the future, had the support of the #1 person of Lin generation. If she were to say something in front of her master, they would have to face the consequences!

There was another secretive thought. They had heard much about Senior Sister since the moment they stepped inside the school. Just now, they had seen the unmatched Senior Sister. That kind of person and this kind of disciple… there was a faint feeling that such a trash Martial Niece was a stain on such a perfect Senior Sister. So, they even felt a hidden thrill when Lin Lin ran his mouth!

Lin Lin saw that Huan Mo was not paying attention to him as usual. With a heart full of rage, he stepped forward and thought to snatch her stuff. Just like the last time. Huan Mo did not resist, but merely looked at him with a sly expression, as if she were looking at a dead person.

At this time, a huge roar gathered everyone’s attention. This was the sound of a Level 2 Ice spiritual beast!

Sure enough, they saw a Level 2 Ice spiritual beast advancing towards them…and blankly stared at it…

Everyone promptly looked for a place to hide out of instinct, including Huan Mo but not Lin Lin who was at level 2 of Qi Refining. Handling a level 2 Ice spiritual beast would be strenuous, but he had just enough power! Ha, as if!

When the level 2 Ice beast saw a certain panic-stricken, looking-for-a-place-to-hide, “weak chicken.” It froze; it was already level 2, so why did it meet her again? Want to cry! What to do? It also wants to hide.

It still remembered the smell of this weak chicken… or maybe it would be more accurate to say that it won’t forget it in this lifetime. It was such a sweet and tasty-smelling odor. The result was… nevermind, it would rather not remember!

Just as the Ice spiritual beast was about to swallow defeat and flee, a certain smell hovered over and made it momentarily excited. A beating is just a beating! In any case, it had rough skin and thick flesh!

The disciples saw the Ice spiritual beast’s attacks becoming more energized all of a sudden and they ran for their lives. Only one person remained!

After symbolically attacking everyone else, the spiritual beast began to focus on attacking this resisting disciple, that is, Lin Lin!

Lin Lin, nevertheless, knew a thing or two. After all, his father was an elder. Although Lin Lin had just recently been noticed and brought back, various types of spiritual medicine made up for it, and he had already started cultivating. So he was on an equal level with the level 2 spiritual beast!

Unexpectedly, the smell aura around the Ice spiritual beast changed and a violent pressure was issued from the spiritual beast’s body. Except for Lin Lin, the disciples present had only just learned how to draw out qi. How would they be able to resist this violent pressure. All at once, they lost consciousness!

The Author Has Something to Say:

Because of the protest that Lin Yuan is *not* the female lead, a small theater has arrived to give attention!

Cute little reader: I heard this book is a tragic romance between the master and disciple? (⊙o⊙)

【Fake】Female lead, Lin Yuan: Yes, yes! The heart-breaking romance that tortured even the mortals, demons and the Buddha!

Little readers who can’t bear being emotionally abused: Please don’t…ヽ(*。>Д<)o゜

【Fake】Female lead, Lin Yuan: Hehe… all three realms have been abused by them, yet they are still in such a deep relationship… how suffocating!

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 16 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (4)”

{Chapter Edited by: Chinthani}

The next morning, YunGe opened her eyes and looked at a certain bed not so far away. As usual, it was vacant. She did not know what to feel, so she just picked up the cloak on the bed and left.

Sure enough, the disciple was in the back mountains. YunGe entered the level 1 area and caught sight of her disciple about to get thrown off. YunGe was alarmed and her body’s response was faster than her thoughts. She swiftly leaped and grasped the kid.

For the first time, YunGe understood what anxiety really felt like!

“…” YunGe came to a stop to inspect her disciple. Must maintain a calm expression! This was the first time she had felt so furious and she also keenly felt the difference between being a teacher in her previous life and a Master in this life.

Had this happened in her previous life, she would have felt much more distressed, but her current feelings were far more complicated. She almost wanted to lash out at this insensible child, but she also couldn’t bear to do that. After all, YunGe was the one that had given her disciple hope!

“Master…” Huan Mo lowered her head. After hearing her timid voice, all of YunGe’s anger dispersed. No matter how many times she repeated herself, her disciple would always take advantage of YunGe’s meditation time to sneak out to the mountains!

Each time YunGe brought it up, her disciple would act spoiled, roll about and act cute, and YunGe would be fooled every single time!

YunGe had complied with this behaviour only because there had been no problems. But today! She looked at her disciple whose sleeves were already dyed red, and panicked…

“You’re not allowed to come here anymore!!!” Said YunGe as she used spiritual power to slowly repair the injured right hand. It was the first time YunGe acted fiercely towards Huan Mo and the first time she had a composed expression towards her.

Meanwhile, those troublesome little beasts had long since scattered away!

Little Huan Mo looked at YunGe’s cold-as-ice face and felt some warmth. This person was worried about her…

“Master…” Huan Mo spread out her hands, wanting a hug. Her creased face made her appear pitiable.

YunGe determined that the hand was out of danger. Without sparing Huan Mo even a glance, she stood up and left.

Huan Mo stared blankly for a while and then caught sight of her master’s right hand which was trembling slightly. Her small heart was instantly filled and she fluttered towards YunGe. Huan Mo spoke with great sobs, “Master, I was wrong…”

YunGe blamed herself even more. She was clearly aware of her disciple’s physique, and of the lack of a remedy. The disciple aspired to be stronger, an aspiration that those with wood spiritual roots and pure yin physique would not have. Even if the ones who possessed wood spiritual roots or pure yin physiques came from reputable backgrounds, they would all live peaceful, but boring lives. Furthermore, the wood element represented life, and did not seek power. YunGe recalled the scene from when she first brought Huan Mo to this mountain. She had been crying while saying she was scared…

YunGe was embraced by Huan Mo and ceased her footsteps. She listened to her disciple crying and admitting to her mistake. YunGe’s heart ached; she had wanted to teach her disciple that there were some dangerous things that should not be done. But how could she find the mood to do this now? Nevertheless, she couldn’t help but crouch down to carry her disciple.

Huan Mo’s face was a bit flushed because she had cried until she ran out of breath. Her originally small and nimble face was even smaller because she wore her hat. Currently, her fine facial features had creased up a bit. Her hands tightly clutched the YunGe’s robe. “Master… don’t leave me…”

“…” YunGe’s heart broke into tears. Huan Mo didn’t have a sense of security. YunGe was aware but even after all this time, it still hadn’t changed.

YunGe put down her disciple and then stooped to her level, looking straight into her eyes, “In your mind, I would abandon you? Cast you aside?” YunGe’s tone was strict.

“…” Huan Mo spoke while drawing between breaths. “Master… I know I can’t be as powerful as you…”

YunGe’s heart ached even more. “Don’t worry, it’s enough if I’m powerful. I will protect you. Don’t you trust me? You don’t need to become powerful…”

Huan Mo firmly hugged her, burying her face in YunGe’s shoulder. Why wasn’t there a need for her to become stronger? Master…

Nevermind, it was fine if one of us knew. There was no need for master to be stained with all those dark stuff…

Huan Mo had not foreseen such a timely occurrence. That group of spiritual beasts had chosen this time to level up. It turned out that her master had appeared at just the right moment, although she still would not have been in any danger even if her master hadn’t shown up. However… she would not have expected her master to be this angry. Huan Mo couldn’t withstand her joy.

Although it would be more troublesome to come here in the future, Huan Mo was willing to endure any difficulty and suffering.

“Do you understand?” YunGe put on Huan Mo’s hat for her. “For the master, you are the most important. Whether or not you have the capability does not matter. Most of the time, I would rather you be an ordinary girl.”

YunGe was telling the truth. Huan Mo was sensible and clingy. During the past half a year, YunGe had come to regard Hun Mo as her own daughter.

“Master…” Huan Mo’s tone was cautious but her eyes were firm. She was still young and there were not many things that she understood, but she did know that today’s unfavorable situation was dangerous.

She had an instinctive understanding of danger.. As a child, she had lived in a place similar to hell, so her thought process was deeper.

YunGe’s past life was in the 21st century. After graduating, she had become a preschool teacher, and then she had transmigrated. After that, she had begun indulging in cultivation. Compared to Huan Mo, YunGe’s experiences were practically pieces of trash!

“Really a crybaby…” YunGe pinched Huan Mo’s nose and reasoned “Don’t cry, if you keep crying, you won’t look pretty!”

Seeing her smile, Huan Mo wiped off a tear, knowing that her master had already forgiven her. “I’m not a crybaby!”

“Alright, alright!” As tears were wiped, more fell. “Your not a crybaby. You actually just like to drop shiny bean-shaped things, that’s all~”

Huan Mo nestled in her embrace without saying a word. How could master understand? She had wanted to cry every time she had encountered a difficult situation. It was the same when she was small, but at the time, she would not have let her tears fall because she knew her tears could earn no one’s sympathy. Nor would her tears persuade anyone to stop bullying her. However, she had encountered this person. This person would feel sorry, be soft-hearted and compromise because of these tears. This person would hug and cherish her.

“Do you know why I got angry?” YunGe asked after walking a step forward and turning around.

“…” Huan Mo looked at YunGe and her eyes expressed her embarrassment.

Forget it. She shouldn’t make things difficult for this silly child. “First, it’s because you don’t know how to protect yourself. In the future, when you encounter a dangerous situation, you must immediately find me, alright? Second, it’s been so long and you still don’t have faith in me. Whatever happens, I will never abandon you.” Which guardian would abandon their own child?

Huan Mo grabbed at YunGe’s sleeves and grasped even tighter. Not a word was said, but her eyes were fixated on YunGe. Her master…

YunGe sighed. “As expected! Sons, daughters and disciples or whatever are all a burden!” She must carefully look after her foolish, weak yet stubborn disciple. Otherwise, she wouldn’t know how she would regret it!

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 15 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (3)”

[Chapter edited by: Chinthani]

Because of a change in the number of disciple, Huan Mo didn’t go to the place where one’s own disciple were guided, but rather the place where the Inner Disciples were guided.

YunGe had the greatest cultivation base among the disciples in the Lin generation. This also meant that none of the other Lin generation disciples had a disciple yet. At the moment, Huan Mo was the only Huan generation disciple. All the disciples crowding the entrance could be considered as Huan Mo’s Martial Uncles.

It was precisely because of this that YunGe accompanied Huan Mo on her first day

What kind of person was Huan Mo to YunGe? She was cute, diligent, and most importantly, she was YunGe’s heart warmer.

Without the privileges of a disciple (that is, an Eldest Disciple), Huan Mo could only study with disciples who had different spiritual roots. YunGe felt uneasy.

Actually, YunGe was really just thinking too much. Even if everyone knew that their Martial Niece couldn’t draw energy into her body, they would not dare show their facial expression. She couldn’t do it, but was still persistently accepted by Lin generation’s number one. If not for this inability, she would have been the  Eldest Disciple. So even though they had never spoken to this Martial Niece, they all knew better than to anger this person!

When YunGe led Huan Mo to the peak of the mountain designated as the introductory guide area, all the people present respectfully looked at the disciple hiding behind YunGe.

YunGe felt a bit anxious. Huan Mo was holding the hem of her robes, and YunGe recalled a group of brats crying and running back to her. Of course, her Huan Mo was not one of those brats. Though, without a doubt, it was to be expected that Huan Mo would be scared of being left alone for the first time.

YunGe crouched down. “Mo mo, if you’re scared we can go back?” Actually, YunGe just wanted to take her disciple back home. At the moment, she was still too young, but YunGe was aware of her disciple’s wish to become stronger. After all, not every person who couldn’t cultivate would insist on secretly going up the cold and snowy mountain on a daily basis.

Because of this, YunGe was at a loss. Sooner or later, Huan Mo would find out she had no way of cultivating in this life.

YunGe hoped that day would come later.

“No, master.” Huan Mo’s face clearly showed a timidity  of someone who rarely came come in contact with other people, yet it was her perseverance that took over. “I am master’s disciple…” Huan Mo let go of the hems of YunGe’s robe and walked towards the guide at the entrance.

Looking at the resolute back of her disciple, YunGe’s feelings were complex. She was her disciple, so what did it have anything to do with cultivating?

The disciples took turns to play to role of a guide as a sect task. Nearly every disciple would have to take up this job at least once.

YunGe was a little surprised. This time, the disciple responsible for acting as a guide was actually the head of the eldest disciples, Fu Yan.

She had only met him once. At the time, she had only just entered. This was soon after she had transmigrated, lacking proper understanding about anything.  At that time, Fu Yan had already become the head of the eldest disciples.

With Fu Yan’s position, his social status ought to have been higher than that of YunGe. However, his cultivation base could not hold a candle to YunGe. Therefore, he also had to address her as “Senior Martial Sister.”

“Junior Martial Brother, Fu Yan” YunGe nodded to greet him.

It had been 10 or so years since the last time she met him. Fu Yan’s temperament was gentler compared to their previous encounter.  He was worthy of being called Yunfu School’s well-known “Gentleman Who Conceals His Blade.” A gentleman like a polished jade.

“Senior Martial Sister can be rest assured, I will look after Martial Niece.” Fu Yan smiled gently, looking at YunGe with an inscrutable expression.

Being looked at like this, YunGe’s scalp felt numb. Even in her past life, she had never liked being looked at with this gaze. It made her feel uncomfortable. “Then I would have to trouble you.”

[(Note- Everyone talks in 3rd person when speaking to each other(such as “Junior/Senior …”). Shows respect/formality.)]

The surrounding disciples threw a curious glance.

Yet, no one was brave enough to step forward and speak. After all, given how high the social status of these two were, who would even have the guts?

After YunGe determined her disciple wasn’t crying, she left.

Instead of returning to the cave and meditating, YunGe went to Yunfu School’s library.

Although she had been in this world for so many years, she has been to the library only once, which was at the beginning. At the time, she used almost every minute to cultivate, hoping to be stronger in order to be able to survive when disaster struck. And so she lived a life different from the other traditional disciples.

Seeing YunGe walk in, the people in the library pavilion quickly greeted her with “Senior Martial Sister.”

“I’ll find it myself.” YunGe walked past them and up to the second floor.

She wanted to know whether her disciple’s situation had any precedents and whether it would be possible for her to cultivate. Or perhaps she could find a way to cultivate without needing to let energy into her body.

Soon it was time for her disciple to be finished with YunFu school for the day,  but YunGe was not successful in finding anything useful. She returned to her cave and found Huan Mo, whose eyes were glistening.

“Master…” Seeing YunGe in that split second, she threw herself at her. “I missed you!” Said the little kid as she used her cheek to rub against YunGe’s cheek. “Does master also miss me?”

YunGe returned the action. “Missed.”

“Hehe…” Huan Mo responded with satisfaction, smiling foolishly. Her eyes were like a sun radiating warmth and light.

“…” YunGe felt some indescribable grievance. This child…

“Master, let me tell you something! Today, Martial Uncle taught us a lot!” Huan Mo was unwilling to let go, so her sweet voice gathered in the side of YunGe’s ear, talking about the day’s events.

YunGe rubbed little Huan Mo’s head. “It’s day one and you’ve already been bought over by your Martial Uncles? Are you getting ready to leave me and go to your Martial Uncles?”

“Of course not!” The kid pouted, feeling wronged. “Master is the best! I have countless Martial Uncles, but only one treasured master! Right! Master is my treasure! All the Martial Uncles are f*cks!” She spoke cautiously, using a childlike manner to speak…

YunGe was on the verge of suffering a stomach ache from laughing. “Who did you learn this from?” YunGe poked her disciple’s forehead.

Seeing YunGe laughing until she was out of breath, Huan Mo was not happy. Huan Mo pouted, puffing her cheeks, and didn’t say anything. It seemed as if a layer of fog shrouded her eyes. She turned away, not wanting to look at YunGe.

YunGe hastily ceased her teasing and, very cautiously, extended a hand to pole her disciple’s cheek. The disciple continued to ignore her. Then, she saw that it suddenly started to rain through the thin layer of fog. The rain fell, pattering against the back of her hand.

YunGe jumped in fright. “Why are you crying? Master was just teasing. Don’t cry, master knows that in your mind, master is precious!” YunGe was only teasing her, but it seemed to have hurt her self-esteem. YunGe thought to herself: the disciple truly has a glass heart ah!

“Master…” The disciple turned around and tearfully looked at YunGe. Her tone feeling extremely wronged. “I only have one master, while master will have many disciples…” The disciple’s tears fell even more, her tone feeling more wronged. “Would master still want me…?”

YunGe was dumbfounded. So this was why…

How did Huan Mo come to the conclusion that she would have more disciples to replace her? -> She didn’t bring this topic up in the past and now she does? Today was also her first day in school -> Then did someone say something to Huan Mo? -> Because of the disciple’s peculiar physique? -> She didn’t know how much the disciple had grieved to become like this!

YunGe ended her imaginations and hugged her disciple tightly. “Huan Mo, be good. Not matter how many disciples I have, none of them are you!” YunGe thinks that even if she accepts another disciple, regardless if they were to be her Eldest Disciple, she would not treat them like they way she treated Huan Mo.

“…” Huan Mo leaned into YunGe’s embrace. YunGe could not see Huan Mo’s mouth tilting upwards.

She was her master. Why would she be anyone else’s?

YunGe frowned. Who was it that said this in front of her disciple? Causing her disciple to suffer. YunGe began visualizing countless scenes. The more she imagined, the more she felt like her disciple had been wronged. “Mo mo, don’t worry. From here on, if I want to accept another disciple, I must ask for your approval first. Is that alright?” YunGe had intended to look for an Eldest Disciple to protect the girl, so this requirement was normal.

Huan Mo heard this and her tears immediately gave way to smiles. *baji* A kiss, mixed with teardrops or something, was planted on YunGe’s cheek. “Master is the best!”

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 14 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (2)”

{Chapter Edited By Chinthani}

Days passed monotonously. First thing every morning, YunGe would wake up and drag her disciple back from the mountains. Then she would spend two hours teaching the disciple how to read.

Luckily, the disciple had an aptitude for learning, and managed to grasp the basics within 3 months.

On the other hand, YunGe learned the joys and sorrows of raising a child. The feelings and concepts of being a simple teacher and raising a child were totally different. For example, today…

The disciple took off her cloak, anxiously looking at YunGe. YunGe laughed in spite of herself. “Disciple, if you don’t wear it by the time I count to 3, let’s see how I deal with you!”

“Master~~” The disciple moved closer and spread her arms, wanting a hug. YunGe lowered her head and looked at the silly girl’s bright eyes and the millet-sized white teeth that showed through her smile. Although, her face hasn’t yet fully matured, YunGe could already see the signs of a future evildoer. But right now, this face was foolish, yet extremely adorable. She downright had the appearance of a lovely, innocent daughter.

How would YunGe be able to teach her disciple a lesson with that look? YunGe could only carry the disciple into her embrace. “You! Not even afraid of catching a cold!”

“With master here, of course I’m not afraid!~” The silly girl raised her head high, like a swan, but her eyes still carried the inverted reflection of YunGe.

“Your mouth got more honeyed.” This was true; ever since her disciple began to talk, her words got more and more sweet and sticky.

YunGe likes her disciple like this. She now resembled a normal 7 or 8 year old child.

“Baji!” [1] YunGe returned from her thoughts to find her disciple planting a kiss. YunGe rubbed her disciple’s head. “There’s something we need to discuss, ok?”

There was no way for the disciple to let energy enter her body and no way for her to become YunGe’s Eldest Disciple. Therefore, she was to be named after the rules of Yunfu.

YunGe knew her disciple wouldn’t understand the difference between Eldest Disciple and Second Disciple. She felt some unease, but she didn’t have many options. Elder Lian had allowed YunGe to keep her disciple, regardless of the disciple’s inability to let energy enter her body. YunGe was aware of the reasoning behind his decision. This was the first time YunGe had ever expressed an attachment towards anything. Given that YunGe was close to developing her core, Elder Lian did not want to risk negatively affecting her cultivation. Moreover, time is long and there was no lack for accidents in the cultivation world…

Knowing all of this, YunGe pitied her hard-working disciple even more.

Once she confirmed her disciple’s inability, YunGe avoided teaching her anything related to cultivation. However, her disciple persistently kept running to the back mountains everyday to train with small spiritual beasts. Each time YunGe caught her disciple looking fatigued and weak, her heart ached terribly.

“Master…” The disciple rubbed against YunGe’s neck. Master was spacing out again. What was she thinking?

“Be good” YunGe snapped out of it and recalled what she wanted to discuss. “I will give you a name, is that alright?” She felt apprehensive. Her disciple had never mentioned her name; sometimes, a name represents a section of one’s past.

YunGe knew her disciple’s life in the past was terrible, which was why her disciple would not mention her name. YunGe had initially intended to make her disciple the Eldest Disciple. Names and whatnot, those are the privileges of being an Eldest Disciple. Thus, YunGe taught her disciple how to read so that she could later choose her own name, but now this seemed unlikely.

The disciple raised her head, her voice sweet as honey “Everything master says is correct, I will listen to master.”

“Then how about Huan Mo?” When YunGe thought up this name, she breathed a sigh of relief. The female lead’s name, Lin Yuan or the names of any of the supporting characters were included in the list from which YunGe selected the disciple’s name…. had there been such a flowery name among the cast of the novel, she would have definitely remembered it. This could mean that the disciple’s role in the novel was not important, and YunGe could be at ease.

[TN- Huan Mo means illusory foam]

After the disciple formed her core, she could go down the mountains to receive a skill. If YunGe taught her disciple well enough, once the female lead appeared, she would not have to worry about her.

“Ok!” The disciple was beaming with smiles and nodding her head. However, she still didn’t forget to place a kiss on YunGe’s cheek.

YunGe smiled at pinched Huan Mo’s nose. “Alright, from now on, you are my little Huan Mo.”

“Master~” Huan Mo wrapped her arms around YunGe’s neck “Master, does this mean I can  enter the school and study now?” Huan Mo’s[2] eyes shined.

[2]- Original text said “Huan Ge

YunGe froze, not expecting her disciple to remember what she had agreed to long ago. At the time, YunGe didn’t know the disciple couldn’t let energy enter her body, so she had agreed. Now…

YunGe felt unwell. The disciple usually strove to be better, YunGe had seen this herself. If she were to tell her disciple that she was incapable of letting energy enter her body, that there was no way to cultivate… YunGe recalled the first time she took her disciple to the back mountains: the disciple cried while desperately fighting the spiritual beasts, continuously saying she didn’t want to be thrown away…

In a sense, it was not a bad thing for the disciple to be unable to let energy enter her body. To say the least, nobody would lust after an ordinary child nor would she be treated as a human cauldron. Regardless of possessing 9 Yin veins in her pure Yin physique, a person who can’t let energy enter the body is just an ordinary person. YunGe took a guess; the disciple first appeared in the mortal realm. That’s probably the root cause!

But…

YunGe looked at her disciple, whose eyes were full of expectations. She couldn’t tell her…

“Then promise me you’ll listen when class is in session.” YunGe patted her disciple’s head and began to plan how to minimize her disciple’s suffering.

During this time, YunGe did not know that because of her matters, Yunfu School had split into two sides.

One side believed “Senior Martial Sister really is worthy to be called Senior Martial Sister! To actually kill a Level 8 Flame Beast, especially without using a fatal move!” This so-called fatal move is caused by exerting the life force in one’s spiritual veins. (YunGe did indeed use it.) After it was used, there would be a shortage of spiritual energy within the body. Everyone had seen Senior Martial Sister slap Second Senior Martial Brother. What does this prove? It proves that Senior Martial Sister didn’t use a fatal move ah!

Then there’s the other side who thought “Senior Martial Sister has already chosen a disciple. Once that disciple has formed her core, she could enter the school.” Everyone’s reaction was ‘Senior Martial Sister really is worthy of being called Senior Martial Sister! Deciding to receive a disciple so early!’

Then not long after, “The one who was to be Senior Martial Sister’s Eldest disciple can’t even let energy enter her body. So she could only become a Second Eldest disciple…” No one knew what to say…

So when YunGe led Huan Mo to Yunfu School’s highest peak, everyone’s eyes concentrated on those two.

Even if she was holding a happily bouncing child, the expressionless YunGe still gave everyone a sense of coldness and alienation.

In the minds of all disciples, Senior Sister was an unreachable existence and should always stay aloof and remote. And so no one advanced forward to strike up a conversation. YunGe was already accustomed to this.

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 13 “This Obedient Disciple is Too Cute (1)”

Chapter Edited by: Chinthani

YunGe felt that taking her disciple to the back mountains opened up the door to her disciple’s world.

Thus, on a yet another morning, YunGe finished her meditation to find that the disciple who had been asleep, had gone missing.

YunGe facepalmed. How many times had this happened?

YunGe went to the back mountains and saw her disciple surrounded by several spirituals beasts. She was beating them up in a desperate manner.

YunGe picked her up, then glanced at the several spiritual beasts pretending to die. “Why did you sneak out again? It’s too early!”

“…” The disciple’s face was red. Out of YunGe’s line of sight, the disciple glared at the spiritual beasts. The spiritual beasts shivered; living a good life was too difficult!!!

YunGe felt this group of spiritual beasts were very sensible; they had not harmed her disciple. However, she examined her disciple’s body to reassure herself. After confirming there were no problems, YunGe pinched her nose. “Since nothing bad happened, it’s fine!”

“Master…” The disciple affectionately rubbed against YunGe’s neck. “Master, am I useless?…”

YunGe patted her head. “Of course not, you’re very powerful.”

She earnestly checked her disciple’s spiritual veins. She couldn’t detect any problems. YunGe herself could not even begin to compare with the amount of spiritual energy her disciple could absorb. However, the problem lies in the disciple’s inability to learn the most basic skill of drawing out energy and letting it enter the body.

This problem was worrying YunGe almost to death. Her disciple’s innate skill seemed comparable to Tian Dao’s biological daughter, except she suddenly turned out to be an illegitimate daughter…

Elder Lian had seen the disciple; he merely shook his head. He had also believed that with a pure Yin body and a single spiritual vein, the disciple’s cultivation ought to defy natural order. However, he had not expected her to possess the worst single-element spiritual veins which focused on vitality: Wood spiritual veins. Furthermore, a pure Yin physique had no attack power with the Nine Yin Channels. Having just one attribute would have resulted in rapid progress in cultivation, but having both had resulted in the worst possible outcome.

Elder Lian had carefully discussed the matter with YunGe. It would be problematic for the disciple to learn how to absorb energy into the body, let alone reaching Foundation Establishment.

YunGe didn’t change her mind about keeping the disciple. But she did wonder whether she ought to find the disciple a strict senior brother or a sister.  That could ensure that her disciple had someone around, even in YunGe’s absence.

Of course, YunGe couldn’t mention this to her disciple. Ever since Elder Lian’s visit, the disciple had become  even more clingy. She would not permit the existence of even a little gap between them, hanging on YunGe’s body, like a baby kangaroo.

However, YunGe was more worried about her disciple running to the back mountains to pick fights with spiritual beasts everyday. YunGe could see her panic and restlessness.

When it was time to go back, YunGe shot a glance at the group of spiritual beasts that were hiding. They all collectively quivered. Their lives were too full of hardship!! Although they had stealthily leveled up, they weren’t happy at all!! Inhumane treatment was also received… but the most significant part was that they had to receive the mistreatment!! Even that stupid human used that kind of gaze to intimidate them… so tiring… they would like to quit being spiritual beasts. Hereafter, they must break away from this demon and go to the Level 2 area…

YunGe didn’t know the thoughts of the group behind her. She just picked up her cool disciple, turned and left. For a cultivator, change of seasons meant no difference. Even if the sky was filled with snow, YunGe could wear her summertime attire. Her disciple was different; she could not draw out energy and let it enter her body. Even if she was brimming with spiritual power, it would be pointless. And so, the disciple got wrapped up into a Zongzi by YunGe. The addition of a cloak increased her resemblance to a Zongzi. [1]

The entire mountain was blanketed in snow. The scenery was coloured in white as far as the eye could see. Because of YunGe’s cultivation base, there were no Level 1 spiritual beasts around to pester the two. It was deathly silent. The only sound was YunGe’s footsteps. Her disciple leaned into YunGe’s embrace and listened to the sound of her steady heartbeat. Putong. Putong… it was as if someone had put a loudspeaker next to her ear and played this beat. It seems like this was the entirety of the world.

By the time they returned to the cave, the disciple’s mood had stabilized. YunGe put the disciple down and looked at her; she had fallen asleep.

There was a marked difference when her disciple closed her eyes and when she was awake. The difference was made by her pair of eyes which seemed to contain a bright sun within. They glistened all the time. YunGe felt contented.

“Master…” The disciple leisurely woke up, her voice soft. YunGe could no longer see in her the child that had isolated herself in her own world.

The disciple did not know why, but she is particularly fond of these cheeks and these glistening, round pair of eyes. She resembled a little rabbit stealing a carrot. After being fed by YunGe everyday,  her disciple’s face had more meat. Her cheeks tempted one to poke them. YunGe was the type of person who did not like to hold back on her impulses. And so she poked her disciple’s bulging cheek. “What the matter? Hungry?”

“Master, you didn’t wake me up~” The disciple’s tone was impatient. “I need to go cultivate!”

“Puchi…” YunGe laughed and poked her cheeks again. The feeling was really nice. “No rush, it’s still early.”

“Not anymore!” The disciple hastily ate, stuffing her cheeks with food. YunGe kept an eye on her disciple, in fear of her choking.

“No need to rush.” YunGe quickly handed her a cup of water. The disciple had not realized that she couldn’t let out energy into her body. YunGe had not told her.

YunGe felt distressed. “I will never throw you away, regardless of the situation.” So you can be a little girl. It doesn’t matter.

The disciple lifted her head and gazed at YunGe with bright eyes. “Master…” Without waiting for YunGe to say anything, the disciple smacked her lips and went over to kiss her face. YunGe froze, then smiled. Such a heart warmer!

Seeing YunGe in a daze, the disciple held the cloak firmly, not wanting appear relaxed. So many times she had seen her so-called younger sister, so proud of herself, flaunting by kissing that woman like this…

Then she saw a flash, another pair of eyes, a gullible white face… In a split second, it dissolved. YunGe widened her smile. She saw her disciple’s eyebrows but not her eyes…

The disciple gradually loosened her hand. This person…

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 11 “The Obedient Disciple has Autism (11)”

[Chapter edited by: Chinthani]

There was still half a year till Yunfu School’s next disciple recruitment. YunGe decided to take advantage of these six months to let her disciple learn to get along with others.

She had wanted to let her disciple start with Lin Ling and Lin Pu, but unfortunately, they had gone into seclusion for a hundred years. YunGe didn’t trust other people, so she could only take her disciple up to the back mountains for grinding (beating up spiritual beasts).

Everyone with spiritual veins have an instinct originating from the deepest part of their spiritual vein. This instinct helped YunGe survive when she was besieged by a tide of spiritual beasts before she had learned any skills. That was why YunGe was chosen by her master.

YunGe looked at the young Level 1 spiritual beasts below her. Tch[1], isn’t this master underestimating her own disciple? Forget it. This is for the sake of her disciple’s well-being! Her disciple’s situation is special, so when her second disciple shows up, she would throw them at Level 2 spiritual beasts!

[T/N]- (1) YG expressing her frustration.

En! Indeed, she is a master with good morals!!

“Master…” The small voice pulled back YunGe’s train of thought. She looked at her disciple. Good for you, ice beast! Actually daring to bully my disciple!! I threw my disciple in there to let her bully you guys, not the other way around!

YunGe had expected her disciple to defeat the Ice spiritual beasts without a problem. She picked up her disciple whose face was glistening with tears and comforted her. Then, she kicked aside an Ice beast that opened its mouth to attempt an ice skill.

“Are you alright?” YunGe examined her disciple and found that she was fine. Her disciple only kept burrowing deeper into her embrace.

YunGe looked at her again with both sadness and distress. Because of her disciple’s innate talent, had she not known when the female lead was to show up, she would have definitely suspected her disciple to be the female lead, “Lin Yuan.” Her disciple practically has all the common female lead characteristics of melodramatic novels! However… being one to possess a pure Wood vein, you’re afraid of a Level 1 Ice beast. Is this really alright?

Without waiting for YunGe to sigh, the disciple’s mumbling voice came from YunGe’s bosom. The disciple had buried her head inside, leaving only the furry white hat visible. “Master… I’m scared…”

YunGe’s was shaken for a moment. For so long, her disciple had only said one word…

She had believed it would take a long time to hear other words from the disciple. Who would’ve known…

YunGe extended her hand and gently stroked her disciple’s hat. Because she had been cultivating since childhood, her fingers were long and thin; the bones well-proportioned. Under the white fur, it looked more like white jade and the glossy luster of gems.

“It’s nothing, I am here. I am always here by your side.” YunGe’s voice was gentle. The disciple put her ear next to YunGe’s heart and listened. She felt an irregular beat near the thoracic cavity, her mood complex, but quickly steadied.

To prove that this group of little spiritual beasts are all wimps, YunGe put down her disciple.

“Don’t be afraid, I’m here by your side. No one can hurt you. Soon, you’ll be able to do this by yourself, alright?” YunGe said seriously as she looked at her disciple and pinched her nose.

The disciple’s eyes were already flowing with tears, as if wanting to say ‘Master, I really am scared…’

“Dearest disciple, master will watch over you. Don’t be scared. If you don’t want to go, you need to tell me why. What are you afraid of?”

The disciple finally couldn’t hold it and rushed up. “Master…”

YunGe felt a child mistreatment kind of feeling. Her heart turned soft. Forget it, if she doesn’t want to go, she won’t go. The future is long[2], so there is no need to force her!

The disciple’s tears, the size of beans, began to drip incessantly, also making people want to sob spasmodically.

YunGe’s heart hurt even more. She could’ve solved things slowly. Why did she have to be this impatient? She always knew: even when she had held her trembling disciple in her arms, the disciple had never truly requested YunGe’s help. Her disciple had always buried herself deep in a cocoon, a place where onlookers couldn’t see. She couldn’t tell what her disciple was thinking. The disciple had a strict awareness of her own territory, that YunGe knew. In her disciple’s eyes, YunGe was a very important person. To say the least, she had let YunGe into her territory. But YunGe was also an insignificant person to her, because she had never really trusted YunGe nor had she requested YunGe’s help. Today, however, YunGe discovered that their relationship had made some progress.

“…” YunGe looked at her disciple, who cried until her face turned red. Her heart throbbed with pain; she didn’t like seeing children cry, even more, crying so sadly. It was as if all the sorrow and dread flowed out with the tears.

“Be calm, we won’t go, we won’t go.” YunGe carried her disciple and turned to leave.

“Master…” The disciple struggled and managed to get down. YunGe saw her disciple charge towards the Ice spiritual beast not too far away.

She cried and ran at the same time. Then she fell flat on her face, right in front of the spiritual beast. She resolutely got back up and pounced on the spiritual beast, which was two times bigger than her. Indeed. She, without using any spiritual power, had directly pounced on it.

That Ice spiritual beast had been previously kicked by YunGe, so it was gloomy. So when it saw the main culprit of this disaster, it sensed danger. But then it saw a very comedic scene, that person had tripped in front of it.

The Ice spiritual beast looked at the very powerful person not so far away and looked back at the “weaker than a chicken” person that fell. It remembered the leg, and had only one thought: Run!!!

Unexpectedly, it couldn’t move!!!! Then it saw that “weaker than a chicken” wimp had pounced on it. She cried while beating it up. “Master… don’t throw me away… hic…”

Tears and nasal mucus flowed out together…

The Ice spiritual beast also wants to cry… it hurts… clearly, she did not use any spiritual power… now it only had enough strength to struggle. Every time it struggled, the place where it should hit was still hit… its’ body hurts… the heart hurts more though…

The little Ice beast glanced at the person not so far away. Their eyes still had a trace of menace… it’s heart ached more painfully… obviously, the one that is getting beat up is me!!! Even though it was struggling very violently…

YunGe watched in distress as her disciple beat up the Ice beast into a pulp. Although her disciple’s small hands and calves kept waving and moving, she was still crying. What was her disciple mumbling to herself about? YunGe felt distressed but did not do anything. Right now, her disciple needed to vent her feelings!

Fortunately, because she had kicked the Ice beast, it didn’t dare use spiritual power to go against her disciple. Although the little Ice beast was bigger than her disciple, their melee was evenly matched!

The disciple finally got tired. She kicked the Ice beast with one last kick and then sat on the ground. She turned around to face her master, tears continued to flow and her face was red. She merely resembled a small deer that was being abandoned. “Master… don’t throw me away…”

YunGe panicked; she had thought that her disciple dashed towards the Ice beast to vent her feelings. She hadn’t expected that it was because of her…

Without delay, YunGe went to hold her disciple. “I won’t abandon you!”

The Ice spiritual beast next to them cried… it must carefully cultivate in the future!!!!

TPOCTTWFP- Chapter 10 “The Obedient Disciple has Autism (10)”

[Chapter Edited by Chinthani]

When her Master’s communication talisman arrived, YunGe was still teasing her disciple.

“Explain!!!” The Master’s enraged voice made the disciple jump up in fright.

YunGe rubbed her disciple’s head. “Puchi” She laughed, “How is your courage this small, ah? This is Master’s voice, and that thing is just a paper tiger. Don’t be afraid.”

The disciple burrowed into YunGe’s embrace, hearing the smile in her teasing. The disciple’s eyes flashed with an indescribable radiance.

When YunGe arrived at her Master’ palace[1], she was fully prepared to confront his rage. Besides, who allowed herself to be a master!

Unexpectedly, however, she arrived to find her Master with a tranquil expression. It was evident that all the fury had already been extinguished.

Elder Lian looked at his Eldest Disciple who was just standing there. Her face was cold and detached, her expression reminiscent of frost. Yet her appearance was cool, elegant and pure. An ordinary person who put on a cold face like her would have lost 7 or 8 points of beauty. YunGe, however, seemed to have been born with a proud and aloof coldness.

This disciple of his… he knew just how many people in the cultivation world admired her. And that not one dared to step forward and stand beside her.

From YunGe’s perspective, her Master looked as if his mind was rambling incessantly. It was the same thing last time; then, she was put in detention for 3 years…

She was tired. ‘Master, if you have something to say, then say it! Don’t leave people guessing! Even if you guessed, you would still need to guess 18 more turns. Does Master really treat his disciple’s brains as a mountain road? Still allowing 18 turns?!

Hehe… Right now, she could step forward, clutch Master’s neck and roar “You want to joke around like that? Are you having fun?!” Eh… of course, she couldn’t do that. Therefore, YunGe continued to stand as her Master looked at her with a complicated look.

“YunGe…” He finally spoke.

“Master…” YunGe lowered her head. Master, if you[2] have something to say, then say it. By all means, do not use your hate to marry off… eh… no, I must not wait to see my disciple looking at me when she gets married off ah! In my previous life, a relative already seen the psychological shadow…

“If you want to accept a disciple, then just go ahead and do it.” Elder Lian sighed. He had yet to meet YunGe’s disciple. However, this was the first time for YunGe to cultivate such a close relationship with another person.

YunGe internally rejoiced. Last time, Master’s promise was rather half-hearted. This time, YunGe knew Master had compromised. “Thank you, Master.”

Elder Lian saw the obvious joy in YunGe’s eyes, and sighed in his heart. When will he get to see this little grand disciple of his?

Following this, YunGe had to endure her Master’s long-winded words on how to teach the disciple about this and that…

YunGe found his words to be clear and logical. She ridiculed him internally. Master, teaching the disciple like this, are you an expert at this?

When YunGe first entered the school, her Master had thrown her an introductory Cultivation Method book. Then, he instructed several Outer Disciples to remember to deliver food. After that, forget about seeing her Master, she didn’t even see his shadow for years. Several years later, the number of Junior Brothers and Sisters had increased. YunGe felt that the number of times she had met her fellow Junior Brothers and Sisters must be equal to the number of times she had seen her Master. Therefore, YunGe blocked his words about how to teach her disciple.

Elder Lian glanced at his disciple who was standing there, her long eyelashes falling over a face that was cold as frost. He could only sigh in his heart. This disciple definitely didn’t hear what he had said.

“For the time being, go back and cultivate well. When you reach Core Formation, I shall ask sect leader to oversee.” Elder Lian looked at YunGe, his eyes full of affection.

YunGe shivered at the gaze of her crazy Master, goosebumps appeared. “…” Master’s intermittent craziness[3] flared up again…

……………………

When YunGe returned to the Immortal’s Cave, she took out the introductory Cultivation Method book that Master had thrown. Her disciple had wood spiritual veins, so her introductory Cultivation Method would be different.

YunGe rubbed the disciple covered in the Flame Beast’s fur. She was suddenly overcome with a sense of peace.

“Little disciple, this Master will carefully protect you in the future.” YunGe pulled the blanket made from the white fur.

At the moment, she was not in a rush to let her disciple start cultivating. The disciple’s current temperament wasn’t fit for cultivating. Rather, YunGe should focus on letting her disciple open her heart and be a lively and optimistic child.

As a result, when the little disciple woke up, she found that her master wasn’t in the cave anymore.

YunGe’s way of thinking was as simple as: ‘Sick? Go to the doctor.’

If her disciple kept staying in the cave, there would be little progress made in curing her. Earlier, she hadn’t dared to put her disciple in the crowd of Inner Disciples. Now, it might be a good thing. Besides, basically the entire Yunfu School now knew about her future Eldest Disciple. In addition, disciples with wood spiritual vein had mild temperaments and tended to avoid causing trouble. It would be great if her disciple could get along with them. YunGe felt it might also benefit her disciple’s health.

And of course, Elder Lian had given his approval. Even though the Lin generation hadn’t, they had many wood spiritual vein disciples. If his little grand disciple could learn from Zhuan School’s wood spiritual vein cultivation studies, then his own disciple could also relax a bit more.

After disciples enter the Yunfu School,  their future foundation would be based on those cultivation teachings. During those years, YunGe was an exception.

YunGe felt… she didn’t have any friends. She wasn’t intimate with her Junior Brothers and Sisters because at the time, her Master hadn’t let her learn with them. So she must avoid letting her disciple follow her footsteps.

But how could she tell her disciple about this matter?

In her previous life, she remembered the time when her niece was tricked into going to kindergarten. As a result her niece had abused the kindergarten teacher’s ears for 3 whole hours!

Although YunGe couldn’t imagine her clever and cute disciple rolling on the floor and making a scene, she could easily imagine her with an empty expression, not saying even a single word; Sitting on her seat, not changing her posture for 3 hours. YunGe sighed. She would rather her disciple roll around and make a scene ah!

“Master…” The disciple’s small face was hidden under the furry, white hat. She looked even more delicate and provoked affection.

“Disciple…” YunGe rubbed her disciple’s head. So far, her disciple had only said that one word, that is, “Master”. No other word had yet escaped from her mouth.

YunGe picked up the little disciple with one arm. The other hand picked up a pastry from the jade plate. “Do you want to eat?”

The disciple did not look at the pastry, nor did she nod, shake her head, or even speak. Instead, her eyes stared intently at YunGe. It was as if  she expected YunGe to disappear in a second if she didn’t keep staring.

YunGe looked at this expression and then thought of something. Ever since she returned, her disciple had been staring intently at her, not blinking once.

She had waited for her disciple to fall asleep before she left to visit her Master. Then she had returned to see that expression when her disciple woke up…

YunGe felt a pang of guilt. How could she have overlooked this?
